Our Mission -
We LOVE dogs and see a great need to provide families with healthy pets that have excellent temperaments. Our team is determined to produce only the best health and temperaments in our babies. Therapy quality puppies are of great importance to us. One big advantage to our partnership is that it gives us the variety and flexibility to match you up with NOT ONLY your desired temperament but also the size, color, and sex you are looking for, often with a shorter wait time. Together, we can do so much more than we can alone. We have focused on health and temperament throughout the years in our breeding  practices. We only breed the best of the best and constantly strive to improve. We do health testing and work closely with genetics to strive to produce a better puppy. We are proud of our lines and continue to develop the best of the best. The dogs that make it into our breeding program are amazing. We have many dogs that serve as companions and treasured therapy/service dogs. Our families are a top priority to us and we do our best to match our families with their prospective puppy. We strive to breed the best and we promise to be there for you and your puppy throughout their entire lifetime.

Where do we raise our puppies -
Our dogs are, first and foremost,  our companions and family pets. They live in our homes and may go out to the park, the lake or for a pup cup with us. At home, our dogs expect lots of toys, a rousing game of fetch, lots of cuddles plus love and pile up with us on the couch to watch movies. Our favorites are animal shows. We firmly believe our dogs are sentient, intelligent beings, with feelings, and treat them as such. We do not use separate buildings or kennels. These are not just dogs, but are treasured family members. Our puppies are born in our home and handled every day.  Every puppy receives Early Neurological Stimulation resulting in a pup that is more calm, adaptable and better able to handle stress. We love each and every single of our babies.

Who are we -
We are a team here at Jae and Country Charm. Jenny Tasche is Jae Australian Cobberdogs and Karen Bradfield is Country Charm Australian Cobberdogs. Karen started breeding in 1999 with her first  breeding dog from Tegan Park in Australia. Jenny purchased her first puppy from Karen in 2008, and after owning him, for a while decided she wanted to team up with Karen and help share this amazing breed with the world. Once you own one you will understand why we feel everyone should have one of our Australian Cobberdogs. Jenny and Karen worked together for many years before adding another partner, Mindy Goss  to the team. Mindy joined us in much the same way, first as a pet owner and falling in love with these dogs. Mindy is our go to genetics specialist and has contributed so much to our program.  Working together, we have better ideas and more resources to make the very best of what we can. Together, we have the ability to expand our breeding dog program while still keeping a low enough scale that our dogs remain part of a family and also our pets. Knowing that these dogs need a family of their own, we utilize Guardian homes.  After genetic, temperament and health testing, the puppies that we decide to keep in our breeding program are placed in a home where they are treated as a family pet. Some of them work in that home as a service dog as well. We retain breeding rights to the dog and will breed the dog a few times until retirement. At such time, the dog is neutered or spayed and continues to live with his/her family for the rest of their life. This works out great, the dogs get the individual attention and love that they need and we get some excellent dogs for our program that will have a forever loving home.

Over the years that we have been breeding, we have met a lot of wonderful people. We love each and every family that chose to adopt from us. We say adopt because you have to complete an application and we have to decide. Yes, we want to let you have one of our precious babies! We also want that baby to be the best possible fit for your family, so we have a lot of questions for you. Hopefully because of this process our babies fit very well into their homes and we have lots of accolades from our owners . Many of our dogs do therapy work, some of them, do it naturally without even the training, it is truely amazing. People who have our babies are as crazy about them as we are.
